BANK OF CHINA - Introduction of the DCDC programme to the Hungarian market
THE TASK:
Creating the first Hungarian communication campaign of the Bank of China for the introduction of its first debit card programme. Running a series of protocol events with the involvement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister.
THE EXECUTION:
We created a three-day series of protocol events. On the first day we held a professional conference where investors and the business world could learn about the financial products about to be launched. On the second day we invited our special guests to the gala concert given by grandees of the Bank of China - the chief sponsor of the Academy of Music - followed by a VIP reception. On the third day we transformed the Bank of China building into a venue for a series of protocol events, where the Hungarian government and the Bank of China signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The document was signed by László Szabó, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Tien Kuo-li, President of Bank of China Ltd. in the presence of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
THE RESULT:
The official opening of Hungary to China was one of the most noteworthy business news items of the year. The three-day event series was a long-running leading news item in the media. The series of protocol events and the strategic agreement were followed by numerous successful projects.
